Education – Meetings

Board of Directors are like small governments.  They are supposed to conduct their business out in the open, through notices and meetings.  This is designed to keep owners informed as to the operations and management of their “community”.  Most associations have monthly Board of Directors meeting a Budget Meeting and an Annual Meeting throughout the year.  Some associations that are very active even have more!  Meetings can be informative to the membership or they can be disasters, depending on the Board, the community and the current issues.

In any case, meetings are necessary and this section will help to educate Board Members and owners to have better and more effective Board Meetings.
